Lending shape, strength and structure to soil

The Mardini Manual press is an efficient, simple, manual mud block press and was developed at Mrinmayee to produce Stabilized mud blocks

It is a manually operated machine

The machine weighs 180kgs and dismantles into 3 parts

With a single machine, a group of 6 artisans can produce around 600 blocks a day

Multiple size SMBs can be produced in the same machine

SMB uses 7-10% stabilizer and cured for 28 days consuming lesser energy as compared to burnt bricks

Exposed mud block masonry provides an elegant finish with no need for plastering

The soil chosen for block making is tested for its suitability and mix proportions are prescribed accordingly. The stabilized soil mix is then filled into the mould, the lever is locked, the block is compacted and then ejected out. The block is then left to be cured.
